SVART GULD™ was born in Ålesund, Norway from a passion for flavour, quality and continuous discovery.

After more than 30 years in professional kitchens across Australia, Asia, Europe and Scandinavia—and over a decade at sea within Norway’s fishing industry—founder Dean Gleeson developed a passion for ingredients, cultures and flavours that eventually led to the creation of SVART GULD™.

Inspired by Norway’s rugged coastline, pristine environment and strong food traditions, SVART GULD™ is dedicated to creating black garlic with depth, character and purpose.
